The Ol' Hippie Bluegrass Show is a syndicated show hosted by Jerry Eicher and released for broadcast on The Bluegrass Jamboree. We have been on the air since 2008 on WQTE 95.3 FM in Adrian, MI. As we write this, we are broadcasting our 390th show this week. Also, we have been broadcasting in Owensboro, KY, on WKWC 90.3 FM since 2013. I am a member of the IBMM and IBMA. In 2010 I volunteered my show to the International Bluegrass Music Museum and they brought my show on board RBI Radio a streaming service for the Museum. In 2013, the Museum began a major fundraising campaign in perpetration for its moving into the new location. The Museum director suggested my show to WKWC in Owensboro, and I have been there ever since. We try to stay on the cutting edge of what's going on in the bluegrass music world. We have been going to bluegrass festivals locally and nationally alike including Merlefest, IBMA, ROMP, Wheatland and others since we started; we've interviewed Emmy Lou Harris, Vince Gill, Old Crow Medicine Show, the Punch Brothers, Ralph Stanley, Sam Bush, Rodney Dillard, the Steel Drivers, the Steep Canyon Rangers, Lorraine Jordan, Joe Mullins, and a lot more live on location.

Jeff Lipchik is a bluegrass enthusiast! His passion for bluegrass is displayed each week on Bluegrass From the Smokies. His inspiration to put together a quality show comes from his love of Bluegrass from 2010 and up but that's not his limit on music or knowledge. Key features of "Bluegrass From the Smokies" include youth & family bands, bluegrass Gospel, as well as new releases. Many of the youth artists featured in each episode are members of Tomorrow's Bluegrass Stars, an organization for young bluegrass musicians. Several Gospel sets are featured throughout the program as well; new releases are featured at the beginning of each episode. Listener requests are played during entire third hour! You are encouraged to join the "Bluegrass From The Smokies" group page on Facebook for program announcements or comments.
